SpinzFlix: Multimedia Kodi Add-on

SpinzFlix is a multimedia Kodi add-on featuring television shows, movies, kids section, and more. Spinz Team has done a lot for the community and using the template and development from Midraal Spinz has come up with a nice add-on. Breaking SpinzFlix up but leaving the search functionality on the main menu will make finding content very easy. I find the add-on is full of little gems including a sports section pulling from YouTube and Filmon. You can find a little bit of everything in SpinFlix.

This add on is “unofficial” and therefore not supported by Kodi Tv or XMBC foundations, please do not ask on their forums for help, go to ares-project.uk for further support.

Click SYSTEM > File Manager

Double Click Add Source

Click “None” text window

Type EXACTLY http://repo.stvmc.net

Click the box underneath “Enter a name for this media source“

Type spinz (or a name you will remember!)

Click OK

Back out or hit the “Home icon” to go back to your Home Screen

Click SYSTEM

Double click Add-Ons

Scroll to Install from zip file

Click repository.SpinzTV-xxx.xxx.x.zip

Now wait for “Add-on enabled” message

Click Install from repository

Click Spinz TV Repository

Click Video add-ons

Click SpinzFlix

Click Install

Now wait for “Add-on’ enabled” message

If you have a clean 17 install, you will have to enable unknown sources first.

Click Settings (cog)

Choose System Settings

Select Add-ons

Toggle Unknown Sources

A warning pop-up will appear

“Add-ons will be given access to personal data stored on this device. By allowing, you agree that you are solely responsible for any loss of data, unwanted behaviour, or damage to your device. Proceed?”

This is your choice, if you wish to install 3rd Party add-ons you must agree. We strongly advise against installing headline grabbing “the best add-on ever…” etc and use only official developers with a proven track record.

Click SYSTEM > File Manager

Double Click Add Source

Click “None” text window

Type EXACTLY http://repo.stvmc.net

Click the box underneath “Enter a name for this media source“

Type spinz (or a name you will remember!)

Click OK

Back out or hit the “Home icon” to go back to your Home Screen

What is Inputstream Adaptive The recent update release from Kodi on the Krypton 17.3 has failed to enable a feature called InputStream Adaptive. So what you say ! What does it do ? How do I use it ? Well here’s a quick explanation of what InputStream Adaptive does : This package is required to allow add-ons like the Youtube to work properly in Krypton 17 . Therefore allowing the add-on to support 1080p resolutions and up and solve some issues with mpeg-dash videos.
