Insomniac: 24/7 Movies & Tv on Kodi

Insomniac by Skeletor and company is a great 24/7 add-on and one of the better ones I have seen over the past few months. Insomniac features tv shows and movies that play on an endless loop so you are able to binge watch all your favorite content. This is the first working 24/7 add-on I have seen since Non-Stop (which still works flawlessly) and in my testing every show was working quickly. The nice thing with Insomniac and the other 24/7 add-ons is there is no more queuing up the next episode as it will automatically start playing when one is finished.

This add on is “unofficial” and therefore not supported by Kodi Tv or XMBC foundations, please do not ask on their forums for help, go to ares-project.uk for further support.

Insomniac Installation to Kodi Jarvis (16)

Click SYSTEM > File Manager

Double Click Add Source

Click “None” text window

Type EXACTLY http://repo.theunjudged.com

Click the box underneath “Enter a name for this media source“

Type Unjudged (or a name you will remember!)

Click OK

Back out or hit the “Home icon” to go back to your Home Screen

Click SYSTEM

Click Add-Ons

Click Install from zip file

Click Unjudged (or whatever you called it)

Click repository.illuminati (x.x).zip

Now wait for “Add-on enabled” message

Click Install from repository

Click Illuminati Repo

Click Video add-ons

Click Insomniac

Click Install

Now wait for ” Add-on enabled” message

If you have a clean 17 install, you will have to enable unknown sources first.

NOTE: We have added a new link for Krypton installs due to some weird Kodi bug not showing the repo zip properly.

Click Settings (cog)

Click System Settings

Click Add-ons

Toggle Unknown Sources

A warning pop-up will appear

“Add-ons will be given access to personal data stored on this device. By allowing, you agree that you are solely responsible for any loss of data, unwanted behaviour, or damage to your device. Proceed?”

This is your choice, if you wish to install 3rd Part add-ons you must agree. We strongly advise against installing headline grabbing “the best add-on ever…” etc and use only official developers with a proven track record.
