For all you iOS users it seems the world of free streaming is just that bit more complicated than for the rest of us. Unless you are willing to risk an attempt to jailbreak what has probably been your most frivolous purchase this year, which is only an option for certain version of the iOS operating system and could easily go very wrong unless you are which is only really an option if you are a more experienced user who is confident they know what they are doing.

A failed attempt to Jailbreak an iOS in order to gain more control over the content you are are able to download and use on your device will most likely have left any and all warranties or guarantees you may have had with the device null and void as it stated in the terms and conditions you signed without reading that any attempts to modify the devices software would result in you breaking your end of the contract (Lol, we all do it)

Free options to get Kodi 17 onto iOS


iOS users do have a few free options that are available to them. They are far from perfect options and will require ongoing, regular upkeep but they will indeed help you to download Kodi 17, Moviebox, Cartoon HD, Play Box and a multitude of other apps that are normally unavailable to those that do not have a jailbroken iOS device and are not willing to pay for a service to have them on their devices.

Open Safari Browser and go to AppValley.vip



  • From your Safari browser tap here

  • Pop-up prompting to install the developer profile will appear – Install

  • Exit Safari and go to your settings menu

  • General Settings

  • Profiles & Device management

  • Find the App Valleys profile and click ‘Trust’

You can now exit your setting and your AppValley app containing Kodi and all the Third-Party or Tweaked apps will be ready for you to enjoy.

The Downside


All sounds too good to be true doesn’t it? Well here’s the downside. Your AppValley  app and all the apps you install using it will work until Apple revokes the Certificate (Normally every few weeks) then you will need to uninstall them and reinstall again with a new certificate following the same process as above. Thank you Apple for ruining a good thing.

Project Cypher

This is an add on thats been around for a while, with a mix of content, mostly that I haven’t used to be honest, but its recently started to produce some good live streams with I think makes it worthy of recommending. I worked through some of the content this morning and there is a mix of stuff, but of real interest to me personally is the quality of the live links. Kodi Audio Settings: Understanding the Options Available

Advanced Audio Settings The object of this Blog is to provide as much Information about the Audio Settings in Kodi/SPMC with out making it look like the Tech Specs. of an “Audiophiles” Sound System.
