What is the Alluc.ee Addon ?
Before we proceed, here’s a brief description of Alluc.ee and where and how you can take advantage of what it has to offer:
“Alluc.ee (pronounced: “all-you-see”) is a user-generated link-sharing-website that catalogs links to TV shows, movies, music videos, sport, anime and cartoons. Alluc does not host any content itself. Alluc.ee also does not contain any download links, all are links to streaming video sharing websites. Users provide the links in the right category and they are released to the site after having been checked by the administrators. Video hosting sites that are linked to Alluc include YouTube, Dailymotion, and Veoh, among others.” (quoted from Wiki-Alluc.ee)
How to Install Alluc.ee Addon
Before we begin you will need an Account from http://accounts.alluc.com . While free to join, this step must be done prior to continuing due to the information needed during the installation. In Addition, a Real Debrid Account (tho not necessary, does provide more HD streams). A Trakt account, especially if you plan on linking to other Add-ons.
While not necessary, these are especially relevant in enhancing your viewing pleasure using Alluc.ee. Real Debrid Account is the only option that is not free, you will need a “user name” & password to continue for all three. The Alluc.ee add-on can be found in the Dudehere Repository.
Once you have Installed the Alluc.ee Addon and have opened for the first time, there will be a few steps to needed to complete the installation. This is a one time procedure but you will be given the opportunity to return and adjust some settings at a later date.
- Photo A – Is the Welcome splash page, select next to continue.
- Photo B – The usual “Legal Mumbo Jumbo” used to cover their legal responsibility and informing/warning the user of theirs. Accept or Decline the choice is entirely yours.
- Photo C – Offers a choice of what “Mode” to use, I chose Basic as I have the option of switching to advanced later on. Select next to continue.
- Finally, Photo D – Find the Language you would prefer to use when searching, select it then click on Next.
Authorizing Alluc.ee
The next screen is where you will now Authorize Alluc.ee Addon.
- Photo A – Will ask you Enter the Username & Password you used when you first joined. Because having an Account is so important to continue, you can stop at this point and join. Please use the link provided at the beginning of this article. Select next to continue.
- Photo B shows the next screen where you are prompted to Authorize your Trakt.tv account now. If you do not have one or simply wish to Authorize later, select “Finish Setup”.
Understanding Settings
The following is a brief description of each Icon. Once installed and authorized, this will be the page seen after selecting Settings. Therefore knowing what each Icon represents will, as a result, improve your ability to fine tune this add-on to your needs.
- A – If you have forgotten or simply wanted to delay Authorizing Trakt.tv, you may do so here.
- B – Click to Enable Advanced Mode. I did not see any advantage using that mode. Up to You to explore and see what is available. I left it at basic and was pleased with the results.
- C – Alluc Settings, Several sub-menus in there such as Accounts: shows your User Name and Password for Alluc as well as accessing your Trakt.tv account. Sort Order: allows you to change how to wish to see the display (Photo to follow below) of each scraper Debrid-Rank-Quality-Host. Display: allows you to select the Default for Movies- TV Views- Season- Episode, etc. Far to many other options to list here, most are not necessary to alter.
- D – URL Resolver Settings, will allow you to Re-Authorize your Real Debrid Account (if you have one)
- E – Clear Cache. Personally I do not clear cache anywhere except when rebooting my Router. Use at your discretion, but I fail to see the need to do so. Follow this link for more information about Clearing Cache.
- F – Simple, don’t like the setup ? Reset and start over again, Not recommended unless you’ve “broked it”. The Setup process is now complete.
Finding Content
Rather than spending time searching thru and add-on for content, let Alluc.ee Addon do the work for you. Photo A is what you will see after opening the Add-on. All the options shown are self explanatory, therefore to save time and space, we’ll focus on Movies for this article. Photo B indicates the options available. Popular Movies was my choice.
IN CONCLUSION
In conclusion, as a stand alone Add-on, Alluc.ee has some unique features, as a Multi Sourced add-on it provides an alternative supply of streams over most of the others. It has the ability to find streams not found on some of the more conservative scrapers and presents them for you in a detailed list.
Alluc.ee can also be used to enhance other Add-ons by adding your information in Covenant with your Trakt Account or Elysium via your Real Debrid Account (at the time of publishing, Trakt was not available in Elysium) to improve your search results. Important Info (Update: 19 Oct 2017)
*Edit* For all New or Recent users, please read the following statement from Alluc.ee website:
Due to widespread abuse of the API, we are forced to limit the API throughput for all free users to 200 search-results per day. What you are using the API for this might limit your ability to use the API. The new limits for free API-accounts will start on 20th November 2017 if you registered before 20 October 2017. For new users registering right now the new limits will be active immediately.
Please note that the API is aimed at developers and companies who would like to access the alluc search-index. The free API accounts are primarily meant to be a trial for them.
Alluc does not maintain or create any apps for usage with the alluc API. We therefore cannot and will not provide support for API users who are using the API with third party apps. Any apps and services you find on the net which require an alluc API account are in no way affiliated with alluc. Even if some of them may falsely use “alluc” in their names, they are not related to or endorsed by us in any way.
