GenieTv Workouts: Fitness Kodi Add-on

GenieTv Workouts is by far the best workout/fitness add-on I have ever used, tested, or seen and I am very happy to tell you about it.  What makes GenieTv Workouts special and different is the amount of categories.  Not only do you have the typical “Beach Body” and “Insanity” workouts you also can search by Calories Burned, Duration, Trainer, and more.  GenieTv Workouts is a Kodi add-on that allows you to design your workout and not make you feel like your only choice is to go to Insanity… No pun intended.  This add-on is great for the beginner and for the health and fitness conscious individual.  Now that we know it is a great add-on let’s figure out how to install and use it.

GenieTv Workouts: Current Version of this add-on is 0.0.1


This add on is “unofficial” and therefore not supported by Kodi Tv or XBMC foundations, please do not ask on their forums for help.

GenieTv Workouts Installation to Kodi Jarvis (16)


  • Click SYSTEM > File Manager

  • Double Click Add Source

  • Click “None” text window

  • Type EXACTLY http://genietv.co.uk/repo

  • Click the box underneath “Enter a name for this media source“

  • Type GenieTv (or a name you will remember!)

  • Click OK

  • Back out or hit the “Home icon” to go back to your Home Screen

  • Click SYSTEM

  • Click Add-Ons

  • Click Install from zip file

  • Click  GenieTv (or whatever you called it)

  • Click repository.GenieTv.zip

  • Now wait for “Add-on enabled” message

  • Click Install from repository

  • Click GenieTv Repo

  • Click Video add-ons

  • Click GenieTv Workouts

  • Click Install

  • Now wait for ” Add-on enabled” message

If you have a clean 17 install, you will have to enable unknown sources first.


NOTE: We have added a new link for Krypton installs due to some weird Kodi bug not showing the repo zip properly.



  • Click Settings (cog)

  • Click System Settings

  • Click Add-ons

  • Toggle Unknown Sources

  • A warning pop-up will appear

“Add-ons will be given access to personal data stored on this device. By allowing, you agree that you are solely responsible for any loss of data, unwanted behaviour, or damage to your device. Proceed?”


This is your choice, if you wish to install 3rd Part add-ons you must agree. We strongly advise against installing headline grabbing “the best add-on ever…” etc and use only official developers with a proven track record.

What is Inputstream Adaptive The recent update release from Kodi on the Krypton 17.3 has failed to enable a feature called InputStream Adaptive. So what you say ! What does it do ? How do I use it ? Well here’s a quick explanation of what InputStream Adaptive does : This package is required to allow add-ons like the Youtube to work properly in Krypton 17 . Therefore allowing the add-on to support 1080p resolutions and up and solve some issues with mpeg-dash videos. Project Cypher

This is an add on thats been around for a while, with a mix of content, mostly that I haven’t used to be honest, but its recently started to produce some good live streams with I think makes it worthy of recommending. I worked through some of the content this morning and there is a mix of stuff, but of real interest to me personally is the quality of the live links. Making Adjustments While Watching Movies in Kodi: Aeon Nox Silvo Skin
