ResolveURL: How Do We Use It ?

ResolveURL

ResolveURL is the new Fork of URL Resolver that has been (re)developed by a well known and trusted developer jsergio123. He is more well known as one of the top Kodi Python Code distributors on the internet in recent times.

The ResolveURL Kodi add-on works in the background of Kodi , also called a dependency, to decode file hosts in order to play the root movie or TV video stream. I’m sure you have noticed the names Dizilab, Dizigold, Primewire, TVHD. These are Filehosts or Scrapers used in many Add-ons. The url resolver kodi add-on searches and retrieves a streaming file as it navigates thru these scrapers/hosts.

Where is ResolveURL located

Since this is relatively new, there are only a few Add-ons that are currently using it:
  • Placenta

  • Death Streams

  • Death Streams RD

  • Nemesis

  • Vortex

  • Maverick TV

If you are installing or updating any of the Add-ons on their own or the repo they are located in, ResolveURl will be automatically installed for you. So there is nothing for you to do except…….Enabling in Kodi and your Add-ons if you have a Real Debrid Account.

Enabling Resolve in Kodi/Add-ons

In addition to creating the Blog How To Set Up and Enable Real Debrid as a guide, we’ll show you where it’s located as well as where to enable it the new Add-on Placenta.

resolveurl

Select the Cog Icon, if you are using a Build, click on System.

resolveurl

Next step, click on System settings. Click on System again if you are using a Build.

System Settings

resolveurl
  • 1. Unless this is your very first time installing anything, you should find the Mode already set to Expert. If it does not, simply click in that area until it reads Expert. (Builds should be already set to that Mode)

  • 2. Move the cursor up to and hover over Add-ons.

  • 3. Slide the cursor over to Manage dependencies and click.

resolveurl

Since the Dependencies List is in alphabetical order, Scroll down to ResolveURL and click.

resolveurl

Select Configure.

Configuring ResolveURL

resolveurl

Rather than posting each step at this point, please refer to this Blog Link posted earlier as a guide. However we will show you the main steps to begin with here.
  • After selecting Configure, move the cursor down to Universal Resolvers, then scroll down to Real-Debrid.

  • Select Priority.

resolveurl

Once the keypad appears,
  • Click on Backspace to remove the number 100.

  • Then enter the number 90.

  • Click Done to complete the process.

  • Select OK, then repeat the Configuration steps again as show in the Blog Link as well as entering the Code as instructed for Real Debrid.

Placenta Add-on and ResolveURL

resolveurl
  • Unlike other Add-ons, Placenta has changed where you enable Real Debrid. Therefore we decided to show this next step for you.

  • Select Tools from Settings.

resolveurl
  • Scroll to the bottom and click URL Resolver Settings.

  • Most other add-ons have this option located in the Accounts section and this has caused some confusion when trying to enable a RD Account. Hopefully this will make it clearer.

  • At this point, follow the process described earlier to enable your Real Debrid Account. The only thing that has changed is the name of the resolver.

In Conclusion

Kodi is an ever changing Media Player and keeping everyone informed with what’s new and improved is an on going process we at Ares Project are intent on providing. Join the Forum, not only is free to all but it’s also Drama and Bully free as well.

Alluc does not host any content itself. Alluc.ee also does not contain any download links, all are links to streaming video sharing websites. Users provide the links in the right category and they are released to the site after having been checked by the administrators. Free Kodi on iOS No Jailbreak.

For Non-Jailbreak iOS Devices Installing Kodi on iOS  For all you iOS users it seems the world of free streaming is just that bit more complicated than for the rest of us. Putting Kodi on iOS has never been easy. Unless you are willing to risk an attempt to jailbreak what has probably been your most frivolous purchase this year,  which is only an option for certain version of the iOS operating system and could easily go very wrong unless you are  which is only really an option if you are a more  experienced user who is confident they know what they are doing. It only takes  one wrong move in an attempt to Jailbreak and that shiny new iPhoneX could easily become noting more than ornament. A failed attempt to Jailbreak an iOS in order to gain more control over the content you are are able to download and use on your device will most likely have left any and all warranties or guaranties you may have had with the device null and void as it stated in the terms...

Why rebooting your Router is Important

Why Reboot My Router ? How does flushing a DNS cache help resolve some issues, and while you’re at it what is DNS?  “Reboot your router then your device” is a phrase that is often used, yet misunderstood. Most noteworthy is when solving issues with Kodi. The intent of this article is to provide a simpler understanding of why rebooting your Router does make a difference. What does DNS have to do with a Router First, a quick review of what DNS is. DNS is an acronym for the Domain Name System. As you probably already know, every device on a network is identified by an IP (Internet Protocol) address. However, you and I rarely know or care what the IP addresses are; we use names instead, like “google.com”. DNS is what maps from names to IP addresses. When your computer accesses a domain name for the first time, it performs what’s called a DNS request, which boils down to asking “Hey, what’s the IP address for ‘google.com...
