Chronos: Kodi Add-on By Swiper

Chronos is one of the newest add-ons to be brought to us by Swiper and Team Skydarks.  If you were a fan of Made in Canada you will certainly like this add-on as they pull from some of the same channel sources which was confirmed by TheKrazyOne so you know the source is good.  Chronos has a mix of everything from Live Tv, Live Sports, Concerts, Movies and more.  This add-on will also feature the coveted 24/7 section.  I tested it on both Jarvis & Krypton and it worked flawlessly.  The live channels came in great and were quick to load.  I think we have a nice replacement for Made in Canada on our hands.

Chronos: Current version of this addon is 1.9

This add on is “unofficial” and therefore not supported by Kodi Tv or XMBC foundations, please do not ask on their forums for help.

Chronos Installation on Kodi Jarvis (16)


  • Click SYSTEM > File Manager

  • Double Click Add Source

  • Click “None” text window

  • Type EXACTLY http://skydarks.com/skydark

  • Click the box underneath “Enter a name for this media source“

  • Type Skydarks (or a name you will remember!)

  • Click OK

  • Back out or hit the “Home icon” to go back to your Home Screen

  • Click SYSTEM

  • Double click Add-Ons

  • Scroll to Install from zip file

  • Select Jarvis

  • Click repository.skydarks-x.x.zip

  • Now wait for “Add-on enabled” message

  • Click Install from repository

  • Click  Skydarks

  • Click Video add-ons

  • Click Chronos

  • Click Install

  • Now wait for “Add-on’ enabled” message

Chronos Installation to Kodi Krypton (17)


If you have a clean 17 install, you will have to enable unknown sources first.


  • Click Settings (cog)

  • Choose System Settings

  • Select Add-ons

  • Toggle Unknown Sources

  • A warning pop-up will appear
“Add-ons will be given access to personal data stored on this device. By allowing, you agree that you are solely responsible for any loss of data, unwanted behaviour, or damage to your device. Proceed?”

This is your choice, if you wish to install 3rd Party add-ons you must agree. We strongly advise against installing headline grabbing “the best add-on ever…” etc and use only official developers with a proven track record.


  • Click SYSTEM > File Manager

  • Double Click Add Source

  • Click “None” text window

Timber Wolf: Movie Kodi Add-on

Timber Wolf is another movie add-on brought to use by the developer “Dee” and is found in the Juggernaut Repo.  This add-on is mostly focused on Movies but does have a tv section and a kids section as well.  This add-on is definitely heavily focused on the movies though yet if you click on Tv it will bring you to a ton of sub-categories to choose from.  I am not sure if Dee plans on cleaning up the movies and bringing them under the umbrella of Movies like he did for Tv but time will tell.  Either way there is a ton of content available to the viewers. PureSports: Watching Sports on Kodi

PureSports is one of the newest Kodi Add-ons on the scene and it is quite nice.  Looks like a mix of a ProSports type add-on tied with a live tv channels section; however, I need to say it is more than ProSports.  I have only taken a small look at the add-on at this point; however, I have been very impressed with it.  PureSports has a great functionality as it is broken down into easy to navigate sports sections.  Is it 3PM kick-off you are looking for?  Or maybe it is the next MMA/Boxing event, Big US Sporting event, or finally just watch some live tv; this is the add-on for you.  Oh, did I mention you also have cricket, darts, F1 Racing and much more?  So enough about pumping up this add-on and now let’s delve a little deeper into it. Changing the Movie Icon Size in Krypton/Jarvis

What is a Movie Icon ? Movie Icon is a general term used to describe the Fan-art of a Movie/TV Show in a Video Add-on. Such as Placenta, Elysium or Death Streams to name a few. Many also call it Thumbnails because it is a small version of a Poster of a Movie/TV Show. All Devs utilize these Icons to give those using their Add-ons a visual aid of what each Movie/TV Show appears as. So you sit down with the Family to watch a movie. But wouldn’t it be nice to just see what movies there are in a larger Icon like you seen in a Poster. Especially for the little ones who can’t read but certainly recognize a Favorite Character of theirs.
