Exodus - The Latest from Lambda

Its great to see Lambda back in the game, for many of us Genesis was so badly missed! Well fret not Exodus, the new offering from Lambda over at TVAddons, has delivered in buckets with the initial release; in fact I am 2 hours late typing this up as I spent so much time going through things…then i got sidetracked…ahem!

Yes there are TONS of HD movies and TV Series linked here – just too much to begin to list…

This addon is NOT supported by Kodi TV, do not ask for help on their forums, you can use the Ares Forums or head over to TV Addons.

I’ll just review a few key settings before installing – those with previous Genesis experience will be keen to have easy download options amongst others, theres a Channels option – Sky movies all listed here and a bunch of options to twiddle with for providers, timeouts and so on – a breif overview at the end of this article.

You will need the Fusion repo to get the new Exodus repo (this isnt in Lambdas repo for some reason?) I did a full review install guide for Fusion here; then follow the rest of the guide

  • Downloading

  • Playback Configuration

  • Sky Movie Channels

Downloading

Ok, *please* check this is legal in your country as downloading copyright material can be an offence that attracts substantial fines, so if you need to download, please use a vpn for your own protection.

I personally use and recommend Private Internet Access a well respected provider, faster than IPVanish on tests, 5 devices on 1 account – Click here

You can set NAS or local storage to download to with the usual SMB options etc – which you set here;

kodi exodus download options

Exodus Playback Options

If you have known issues with HD playback you can set the max quallity here to prevent playback issues with some streams. You can see “Hosters with captchas” here – is ON by defualt i recommend you switch it OFF to avoid those annoying pop-ups (personal choice).

Sky Movies Channels

I have never understood the motivation to get these channels as there is so much more upto date content, but for those of you who want this option, click Channels from the main Exodus menu to see this;

There is much more to explore here, but I’ll leave you to do that, I’m off to watch a movie!

Click Here: Kodi Add-on by SkyDarks

Click Here is one of the newest Fork and it has a very clever name.  Invoking you to just “click here” to get all the movies and tv shows you could ever want.  This add-on doesn’t have any of the “extras” that some of the other forks have; however, it does work nicely.  Click Here has all the sames features you enjoyed in Covenant including the ability to add Trakt and Debrid accounts.  I like that the developer Swiper kept it close to the original and just changed up some artwork. Click Here: Current version of this addon is 1.0 This add on is “unofficial” and therefore not supported by Kodi Tv or XMBC foundations, please do not ask on their forums for help. You can unblock many “dns censored” sources with a smartdns solution  If you use p2p add ons, torrents, or in countries that prohibit streaming use a vpn from a reputable provider like Private Internet Access . Serial Killers Lite: Kodi Add-on

Serial Killers Lite is definitely a unique Kodi Add-on for several reasons.  First, obviously, it is one of the few add-ons that is exclusively focused on Serial Killers.  Secondly, it is one of the few add-ons that also requires Real Debrid for several sections.  The good part about that is you know you will have some great private streams.  This add-on is definitely a niche add-on but I believe there are many who share my fascination with Serial Killers; so I think this add-on will become immensely popular once people hear about it!  I think Mookdog did a very nice job with this add-on. Serial Killers Lite: Current version of this addon is 1.2.0  This add on is “unofficial” and therefore not supported by Kodi Tv or XMBC foundations, please do not ask on their forums for help. You can unblock many “dns censored” sources with a smartdns solution  If you use p2p add ons, torrents, or in countries that prohibit streaming use ...

Why rebooting your Router is Important

Why Reboot My Router ? How does flushing a DNS cache help resolve some issues, and while you’re at it what is DNS?  “Reboot your router then your device” is a phrase that is often used, yet misunderstood. Most noteworthy is when solving issues with Kodi. The intent of this article is to provide a simpler understanding of why rebooting your Router does make a difference. What does DNS have to do with a Router First, a quick review of what DNS is. DNS is an acronym for the Domain Name System. As you probably already know, every device on a network is identified by an IP (Internet Protocol) address. However, you and I rarely know or care what the IP addresses are; we use names instead, like “google.com”. DNS is what maps from names to IP addresses. When your computer accesses a domain name for the first time, it performs what’s called a DNS request, which boils down to asking “Hey, what’s the IP address for ‘google.com...
