I doubt i need to explain what this addon is all about! This is content provided from a genuine community member, Ian Dickinson. I know hes self taught, so hats off to an “ordinary” guy creating content for Kodi. Ian also runs a build under the banner of The Wizard Builds which you can find on the Ares Wizard.

This is an addon packed with everything about fishing and i know more will be added, so for all the avid fisherman out there, you now have an addon run by an enthusiast for enthusiasts, perfect.


This is in the Ares repo – so grab that if you dont have it, install any repo guide and then come back here;


Installing Fishermans Cove


  • Click System

kodi system option


  • Click Add-ons

  • v14 Click Get add-ons

  • v15+ Click Install from repository

  • Click AresProject

  • Click Fishermans Cove

  • Click install

  • Wait for the “add-on enabled” message

Click the addon again and hit open to launch this quickly – it can be found in the video addons section later.

f4mTester What, Where and Why ? The What :  F4mTester was created by the developer Shani, (you may remember the now dead Zen Add-on) where it was placed in their Repo as a dependency. In a nutshell, f4mTester decodes various types streaming video files. That includes HTTP Dynamic Streaming (HDS) and Real-Time Media Flow Protocol (RTMFP) streams that are displayed in media players, including Kodi. When you open a streaming video in your media player, it needs to be decoded to view. The F4M manifest file helps your media player understand and decode the video stream. Since this file contains info about the stream, f4mTester helps Kodi read those F4M files and decode them in a way that makes sense. So simply put, f4mTester locates the F4M files and helps Kodi display the live streams that you want to watch.
